Home Project News February 3, 2021 Project Log FAQ Project Notes Project Summary Guestbook Other Stuff | When trying to lay out the six rivet holes on the big aileron push tube I remembered a trick from high school geometry. If you divide a circle with a compass using the circles radius as the compass setting you will divide the circle into six arcs of the same length. I started by drawing a line 1/4" from the end of the tube and then setting my compass to 9/16" (the tube diameter was about 1-1/8") I marked myself a starting point and then marked the rest from there with the compass. The result was six evenly spaced holes. This web site and the infomation contained within it are for entertainment purposes only.
