Static Line Problem When I first installed my static line it was a thing of beauty. The T was just in the right place to feed the poly-flow tubing down the longeron, the vinyl tubing wraped around the bulkhead just perfectly and all was wonderful. That is until I realized that I had a water trap on the left side. The tubing should go up when entering the airplane so that if any water gets into the static port it will drain back out.
