Installing #8 Nutplates

I think the book makes mention of this somewhere but there is a nice trick to installing #8 nutplates. Drill the pilot holes for the screws to #30 and leave them. Then you can use a cleco to hold the nutplate to the hole where it will be installed. Drill the #40 holes for the nutplate and then just enlarge the holes to #19 right before you rivet the nutplates on for good.
